The annual Stratford on the Avenue Theatre Festival is a production of the Stage Left Theatre Company, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization comprised of local individuals dedicated to providing a variety of theatre opportunities to the community and, eventually, hosting educational workshops and children's theatre events.

This outdoor theatre festival is held during the summer at Rotary Park (formerly City Park) in downtown Ludington and features classical play performances by the likes of Shakespeare, Molière, Wild, etc. The 2019 event included a classic performance of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream and an abridged, comedic adaptation of Othello entitled "Oh H*ll No!" and written/directed by Erin Thibalt.
